Nature Therapy

Humans crave a connection with nature. We can see this through the popularity of activities like gardening and horticulture, to hiking and nature photography. When humans encounter nature, we find peace, increased self awareness, and solace.

Research confirms what we have observed:  that direct contact with nature can improve mental health and increase psychological and spiritual growth and development.

Nature Therapy is an experiential therapy that uses these benefits to their full potential.

Benefits include stress reduction, a sense of coherence and belonging, improved self confidence and self discipline, along with a broader sense of community. It can be used to help treat addiction, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, eating disorders, and PTSD.  Nature therapy is also useful in dealing with healthy and body-positive teen and adult weight management, and esteem building.
