What is Experiential Learning and Therapy?

Experiential Learning and Therapy is based off of learning by doing. This is a powerful multicultural model that can be implemented through a variety of activities.

Research shows that we remember only 20% of what we hear and only 50% of what we see. When learning is activity based, however, individuals can remember up to 80% of what they have learned. Activity based experiences have longer lasting effects than other traditional learning models.

Experiential therapy uses activity based learning to help individuals achieve their goals.

Each activity is accompanied by thorough, guided self-examination and exploration, discussion, and debriefing. This allows a learning and growing environment to develop that builds upon itself.
